Jaringan Raksasa 'Facebook' Mengakui Salah Hapus Berita yang Valid Terkait Virus Corona

BUALBUAL.com - Jejaring raksasa Facebook mengakui terjadi kesalahan dalam alat moderasi automasi di sistem anti-spam Facebook. Eror tersebut membuat sistem salah menghapus berita virus corona (SARS-CoV-2) yang faktual dan valid. Vice President of Integrity Facebook, Guy Rosen mengatakan perusahaan saat ini tengah memperbaiki sistem tersebut. Facebook diketahui tengah memblokir posting yang berisi tautan ke berita virus corona. Pengguna Facebook mengeluhkan sistem Facebook memblokir tautan ke berita perihal penutupan sekolah dan informasi yang berkaitan dengan wabah virus corona.

We’ve restored all the posts that were incorrectly removed, which included posts on all topics - not just those related to COVID-19. This was an issue with an automated system that removes links to abusive websites, but incorrectly removed a lot of other posts too.

Pada Januari, perusahaan telah mengumumkan tengah menghapus berita disinformasi dan teori konspirasi perihal virus corona.
